Danielle Walker is the author and creator of the popular Paleo-food blog Against All Grain (www.againstallgrain.com). Having to deal with a diagnosis of an autoimmune disease at only twenty-two years old, and unable to alleviate her symptoms with conventional medicine, she eventually came to the conclusion that she had to remove grains, lactose, legumes, and refined sugars from her diet. When she realized that there were many others out there struggling with the same issues, she combined her culinary skills and love for food with an equal love for journalism in a campaign to end her own agony and become a source of hope for others suffering from all types of diseases and allergies.

After four years of turning her kitchen into a laboratory for revamping her culinary point of view, Danielle mastered the art of grain-free, dairy-free and gluten-free cooking--and improved her well-being, eliminating all her ailments. A self-trained chef, Danielle is the new face of grain-free and gluten-free cooking, tempting foodies of all stripes with her innovative, accessible recipes for delicious, vibrant Paleo food.

What started as a simple hobby and outlet from my daily mom duties, quickly unraveled into a successful business and brand. Her blog, Againstallgrain.com was initially started as a way to catalog recipe failures and triumphs and possibly share with close friends and family but went global within a year of initiation. At 200 followers and a mere 2,000 views a month in 2011, the Against all Grain blog now has over 90,000 readers! Her first cookbook, Against all Grain, has been in the top 100 books on Amazon since its release in July 2013 and has spent 8 weeks so far on the New York Times Best-Seller List.
